Introduction Shirley’s Patterns Intro Hi, I'm Shirley. I’m so excited to welcome you to my pattern store. I've been sewing for my entire life and finally decided I wanted to create easy to understand patterns. The purpose & goal of my pattern store is to make my patterns fun to make. Why Learning to follow instructions gives you the ability to learn more math skills like reading a ruler & even how to stuff a toy. You will have the ability to purchase more patterns that I offer. What There will be decisions to make for projects like what color thread and fabric to use, which notions will solve your immediate problem. That requires knowing about the uses of your thread and fabric and the functions and uses of the notions needed for a project. Preparation of a project is a good skill too. Finishing a project, whether simple or complex, gives anybody a great sense of accomplishment. While using my patterns, there will be examples to show, handouts to collect and a binder to hold your acquired information for further reference. The idea behind all the extra information is to help you practice what you've learned after completing your project.
