Welcome to SPF Designs! I'm Sammi, the creative force behind SPF Designs. By day, I'm a passionate web developer, weaving code, but when the screens are off and the yarn comes out, a whole new world of creativity unfolds. I've been crocheting since before I wrote my first line of code. First it was a fun hobby to stay close to my relatives in other states, something we could do together even from a distance. Then it was physical therapy after a broken wrist forced me to transform my passion for code into a full-time job. Now between lines of code I find comfort in the rhythmic dance of yarn through my fingers. What started as a hobby quickly transformed into a full-fledged passion project, giving birth to SPF Designs. Crochet allows me to slow down, embrace the meditative process of creation, and produce tangible, functional pieces of art. I'm excited to share these creations with you.
