Welcome to Starfish Steps! I am a crafter at heart and have several crafting passions. One thing I really enjoy is sewing handmade bags. I make a variety of types and sizes. All of the bags in my store are completely handmade. This allows me to customize the look by choosing my own fun fabrics. I also feel that it makes a higher quality bag than one that is purchased in a store. One of the first bags I made was a simple drawstring backpack. I love how it is a useful project that can be made to suit anyone's taste based on fabric choice. I went on to add pockets to the drawstring bag to make it even more functional. From there, I began expanding to zipper pouches, purses, and tote bags and other home sewn items. I also love making jewelry, and as a side hobby, I also enjoy making stickers. Most of my listings will be home sewn items but you may occasionally see some jewelry and sticker listings here. I hope you find something you love in my shop! Thanks for looking!
