Still River Handmade

Hello and welcome to Still River Handmade! What follows is a little bit about how I started down this path and what motivates me. My passion for woodworking started a long time ago, but recently I've been fortunate enough to have the space and materials to devote to making quality handcrafted wood items. I started out with woodcarving and DIY home projects that required fine craftsmanship and that turned into working on some projects for friends. My motivation for starting this shop was to create useful, durable, and aesthetically pleasing woodcrafts that incorporated many of the skills and interests that I already had. Whenever possible, I use locally sourced wood that I mill, kiln dry and surface myself. Many of my ideas for products have started with an offhand comment from my wife or a friend about something that they need, so if you have something in mind that I don't offer, please let me know. I hope you will take a look around at some of the handcrafted items that I've created.
