Welcome to Studio Komono, a place for unique 100% handmade miniatures, art, jewelry, supplies and more. From rural Northern Iowa we bring you creations inspired by nature, art and the ever-changing world around us. The word "komono" loosely translates from Japanese as "small, beautiful things" Feel free to inquire about our processes, materials and even creating a custom order listing just for you! We love art of all kinds and we will do what we can to make your ideas a reality. Our pendant and miniature art materials are ethically sourced when available (deadfall wood and other found woodland products, purchased scraps from larger retailers, etc) and/or made from repurposed or vintage supplies to ensure a minimal impact on the environment.
