Welcome to my Studio. My name is Susan Monty, and I am a wildlife and animal artist. I love nature so painting the birds, animals and plants that I see in my everyday life is what brings me joy. When I paint an animal I look to capture the personality of that individual, and I hope my viewers see that. I always have my camera handy, and I take numerous pictures of the birds and animals that pass through my yard. I am lucky to see deer, foxes, raccoons, owls, hawks and lots of song birds. They all find their way into my work. I keep a backyard journal where I record all the interesting things that I observe. I hope you will enjoy my work and that you will find as much pleasure as I do in our beautiful natural world.
