Sweet Dreams Pillowcases

Hello and Welcome to Sweet Dreams Pillowcases! I was taught to sew by my mother on my grandmother's White Family Rotary treadle machine. I bought my own sewing machine while working part time as a high school senior, and began making clothes for myself. When my son was born, I also made infant and toddler clothes for him. I've always enjoyed decorating for the holidays so I began sewing pillowcases for myself. When my dear friend's grandson required chemotherapy as a youngster, I made pillowcases for him based on things he liked. I figured if he needed to rest a lot, he should be able to rest with things that gave him comfort. That's how my first online store developed almost 20 years ago. I am new to MakerPlace but not new to sewing or selling. I make standard and travel/toddler size pillowcases for children and adults, as well as rag quilts, envelope-back throw pillow covers, and small fabric baskets.
