Welcome to Sweet Sumac Studios! I am currating a shop based on my watercolor paintings. I love the dreamy way watercolor moves and creates misty semi abstract images. I started my career as a mental health therapist and cultivated creative practices to balance the energy in my heart after long days dealing with difficult topics & crisis. Art brings breath and beauty back into my world. Now I am focused on watercolor as my primary medium and have completely fallen in love. As I enter the second half of my life I want to share the beauty and mystery of watercolor with others. I will start out primarily with prints, but hope to expand to original pieces and maybe even other products as I go. My hope is that you find the beauty and mystery of these paintings as wonderful as I do.
