Thank you for visiting The Creative Canvas! A little about me- I've crafted since I was a little girl and have always loved making beautiful things. I own an art studio in north Georgia and have taught art classes for over 25 years. In 2006, we suffered the loss of our daughter through a miscarriage. I was devastated. I searched for hours to find something to have in honor of her memory. I finally found a little pin that brought me so much comfort- to show she would not be forgotten. I wrote a poem in her honor that I would later give to others who suffered the same loss and that evolved into making and selling my ornaments to every state and over 25 countries. I make each ornament I sell with the same love and care that I have when making a gift for my own family and friends. I am honored when someone entrusts me to make a memorial for their loved one and hope that each one brings comfort to the receiver. These ornaments are more than just a business to me- they are a mission, and I'm truly grateful to help so many others through them.
