There are so many tools and techniques in quilling that makes it great for everyone. There are new ideas and techniques that are found fairly often. It's amazing what you can do with a tiny strip of paper. Quilling is done traditionally by rolling paper into a coil, letting the coil open up into a beautiful circle with layers of evenly spaced spiral. There are many ways to pinch and manipulate this simple spiral. The most common pieces are flowers and full floral arrangements. With the technology of today, you can find quilling art on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and more platforms. Even a simple google search will yield many examples.
