I live on a small farm in West Central Michigan having left the fast pace of Denver to move into the country. Here I live closer to land, wildcrafting, gardening and raising animals. Life is quieter, slower and this change has allowed me to focus more on my art than ever before. These changes in my life are reflected in my creativity. Farm life has led me down a path to sustainability. Although I've always been an up-cycler, now, I began exploring those options more than ever. Then I learned to sew. Everything changed again. I began offering table runners for sale at local craft shows. They were a big hit. As my skills developed, I began experimenting more and more. Eventually, I was able to apply my new skills to my devotion towards sustainability. My entire family was so surprised that my ReUsable Swiffer Dusters have led the way to a successful Etsy business. After selling thousands of them, the family pitches in new and clever ideas for more sustainable products to add to our line.
