Wee World Construction

Wee World Construction was born when a little piece of our yard wouldn’t grow much. My husband and I removed several dead bushes and plants over a year's time because everything kept dying. We couldn't figure out what the problem was! We added soil, plant foods, and fertilizer to no avail. The spot, however, would get covered with moss and little clovers, as well as lots of twigs and rocks. What better place for the fairies to thrive in! I asked my husband if he would mind me creating a hidden fairy garden, created in this little abandoned area. He was all for it because we both knew the grand-kids would enjoy it as much as myself. I began my quest for homes and little items but while searching for objects I found it difficult locating what I wanted. I knew I wanted natural, rustic items but what I was finding wasn't what I was looking for. So I decided to make items myself; ponds, little homes, and accessories like snails, mushrooms and stepping stones came easy to me and before I knew it I had my fairy garden! So my fairy village started and I realized with the fairies help, making items was fun and creative and it became a wonderful artistic outlet for me.
