I’m a creator—I always have been. Making something unique for my husband, my children, or my family and friends is how I communicate my love, admiration, and gratitude. A blanket, to me, means comfort, safety, and reassurance. When my little ones were distressed or upset, I would wrap them up in a blanket and snuggle on the couch. When I have a hard day, I wrap myself in a blanket. They’re like chainmail in how they shelter and protect you from the barbs of the world, but they’re made of yarn—they’re Yarnmāl. It’s vital to me that we use high-quality, natural fibers that are easily cared for in all of our designs. Several of our yarns are conveniently machine washable in cool water and become softer through washing and use, perfect for the little ones in your life. To reduce our carbon footprint, we only manufacture an item after it is ordered. This decreases manufacturing and inventory waste. We use detergents and fabric softeners that are dye and scent free and every piece is hand finished. Each piece that I've designed has a story, an inspiration and I am so grateful to be a part of your story.
