The duo met in 2016 and quickly discovered their shared ambition to build something extraordinary together. Wes, originally from Alabama, is a full-time Superintendent in industrial construction, while Shannon, a Southern Indiana native, has a strong background in marketing and graphic design. Combining Wes's hands-on construction expertise with Shannon's eye for design, the pair embarked on their first project: a custom version of YARDZEE. Its overwhelming success inspired them to launch Yes We Wood. Today, Wes and Shannon have expanded their offerings to include blank door hangers, shelf sitters, ornament kits, and more—providing customers with high-quality wooden canvases to spark creativity and elevate home decor.
