Disappointed in environmental cost of this product
The warning label on this can has kept me from using the product: flammable, explosive, toxic, etc. I wish I had thought more carefully before the purchase. My teacher told me to use a spray varnish. for an acrylic painting on foam core board. Before I usually would wipe or paint on a liquid varnish. Disappointed.

Why buy Mod Podge?

Under appreciated until I used it
This was my first time purchase and first time use of said product. I am impressed. I coated a wood printer's tray with powdered lime for an aged look. The lime when dry becomes very abrasive. I sanded it lightly. I cleaned the dust. I then applied a coat of the mod podge. It was quite obvious that the first coat sealed the entire piece beautifully. I added the second coat for an extra smooth finish and it worked. This has a matte finish, but because of the coloring of the lime and the sealer, there is a bit of a soft sheen and it just adds to the beauty of the piece. Very satisfied
