so, a lot of people are complaining about these tumblers NOT being good for making the snow globe effect. well, in my opinion, I only had one out of the 8 I bought that leaked from the top rim. I have a suggestion that worked for me really well, and I'm assuming most learned how to make these by watching YouTube videos. here's the CORRECT way to make them: step 1: drill your two holes SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY OR WET DRILL! the pressure will crack ANY plastic, especially acrylic. it's essentially the same as plexiglass, which also cracks if dry drilled with firm pressure at a high speed. step 2: after both holes are drilled, which should be a 1/8" away from the inner corner rim on each side (not the outer, which will also make it crack), after unscrewing the lid, squeeze a TINY amount of UV resin in each hole, letting it drip into the lip/rim of the cup, just to seal it, and cure it with your UV/LED lamp for about 60 seconds, but me sure to cure the base as well, because the glitter will stick to the inner wall if you don't. trust me, if this is done properly, you won't have ANY leaking after that, but screw your top back on after curing. step 3: pour your glitter into the squeeze tip bottle you plan on using for your liquid mixture, then add your glycerin/water, baby oil (which I never recommend), or my personal favorite, clear school glue/water (1 part glue, 3 parts water) to the bottle, shake it up, and squeeze it into the holes. (this saves so much time vs. using masking tape and shaking into the holes! you'll thank me later for this trick) if you are using chunky glitter, use a funnel instead of the squeeze bottle. I only use the squeeze bottle for fine glitter. let it sit to get rid of all bubbles and add until you're at the desired level. step 4: using a hot glue gun, clog the holes, like stick the tip of the glue gun in each hole then fill with glue from the inner wall, pulling up out of the hole, then move the hot glue in a circular motion, forming a seal to cover each hole. make sure it's not leaking when you turn it right side up. step 5: pour a MEDIUM THIN layer of UV RESIN to cover the glue seals, and the entire inner circle of the base, then cure for about 2-4 minutes, depending on how bright your lamp is. then you are all finished!!! I hope this helps make it a much easier process and prevents wasting money by having cracked/leaking snow globe tumblers. HAPPY CRAFTING!!!

I can't tell if the item is just easily scratched or if its a shipping issue, but all 10 that I ordered were scratched up and or cracked. Also 3 of them were missing straws.

honestly im pissed right now that i just opened my package and the cups are lose on the box and all look scuffed. you can put alittle kore effort into your packaging this is pathetic lol i am so angry right now and just noticced the rubber that is used ti screw on the lid is off like 3 of them COME ON it would of gotten 0 starts if it was an option

Very cheap quality cups, many jagged edges ( be careful don’t cut your fingers!) the rubber seal is paper thin, the lid does not close smoothly you have to close it and open it at least 3 times till it grabs on straight but still a very rough closing, if not careful cup can crack easily at closing or might get stuck too! This cup I got on sale so I paid 3. Something.. regular price is over 5 dollars! Honestly this item is dollar store quality, 1.25 from Dollar Tree is good not almos 6 dollars!!
