I love shopping at Michael's but the quality of the yarn has been weird some times the big yarn is not so good and i dont find out until I get started on a project and it makes it really hard to use. I wish there was a way to return it. Other than that I am happy with the store

Really like it... You sometimes have to work with the yarn to keep it from tangling...

This yarn stand holder has helped me keep my yarn from tangling. So far I have used it to make double-stranded slippers. It makes it easy to pull two strands at the same time. I’m also looking forward to using it for my two-color fair isle/stranded work next where again I can pull two different colors without them getting twisted. Obviously, I also will be using it for one skein projects. I haven’t utilized the back spool as of yet but it will be interesting to see how the yarn will come off side ways. Lastly, I notice that it works best to use the outside of the yarn instead of a center pull. Everything was getting jammed around the stopper when I tried my beloved center pull method. I adjusted the yarn (and my mindset!) and now it’s rolling much better. I was hoping it could be portable for me to travel with but it’s too much to take down repeatedly so I “travel” with it from room to room in my house! This was a great investment, and I highly recommend it.

The item is a great idea but,  there are a few issues with it. The arms extend permanently too far. Either shorten them, or better yet, make them fold down. The base swivels,  which is nice but, any time you turn it even a little the nut at the bottom of the base comes loose. Now you have a wobbling tower of yarn. The only way to fix it, is to completely turn the enter holder upside down, to tighten the screw. You'll become very familiar with this procedure,  as you'll do it several times a day, or everyday you use it. Now there's no easy way to store it, as nothing folds or collapses. only option is to completely unassemble it. Again, great idea, but definitely needs to be improved. I got rid of mine. 🤷‍♀️

Buyer beware. I bought this in hopes to avoid tangling my yarn and to keep my cats from getting to it. Unfortunately, the yarn got wrapped around some of the screws and tore. The other major issue is the fact you constantly have to tighten the stand to the weight with an Allen wrench as it does wobble a lot. I wish I had ket the box so I could return it.

This product is nice with a slight flaw in the construction.  The way the post enters the bottom is not secure enough to stop the post feom coming loose almost every time it is being used. If that is ever adjusted this product would definitely get 5 stars.

All the critical things I read in reviews were 100% correct. No matter how tight you screw the base on it will come loose. The yarn does not easily spin as youd think it would, its actually a bit of an arm workout having to whip the yarn about trying to get it around because all it wants to do is get stuck and squish. Im telling you I have tried making a bigger "washer" to try and make it harder for the yarn to get stuck, a CD fits but doesnt work, I also tried a funnel to give a gradual edge to creat a smooth slide for the yarn. Nothing works. 

The pro is it gives you a place to store yarn and keeps it from rolling away. I say save your money though.

Honestly I can't say enough good about this product. It exceeded my expectations.  Not only is it sturdy but it's set up to make your work so much smoother. I can't wait to start a new project.
