Instructions are ready to follow and my 8 yr old daughter enjoyed doing this craft.

The pattern is not printed on the mesh so you have to color it yourself using Sharpie markers. That's no big deal, but the pattern is not to scale. Also, though I used only one piece of yarn per square, there was not enough and I had to add my own. Not worth the hassle.

I bought this kit for my 8 yr old grand daughter and it came with NO printing on the canvas. Aside from that the canvas was SO thick I don't know how you'd make a pillow out of it. Returning this and am very disappointed the description made it sound like it was a pre-printed pattern!

Did not realize it didn't come with a hook until I got home. I've never bought a kit that didn't come with one. Consider me a novice, I guess!
