Easy to do, great keepsake
Did this with our kitty's paw. It made a great print of her paw that we can always treasure. Tip: try cutting away any hair around the paws first so that you get an actual pad impression. Just be sure to remove all loose hairs or they will get stuck to the clay too!

Easy to do!
This project is great for Mother's Day. We made 2 for the grandmothers. However, its for BABIES hands. My daughter was 10 months old and her hand was almost too big for the mold and we struggled to include her name on it, as the example shows. Overall, everything turned out great and we are happy with the finished product.

Great product, ready to use out of the box
Our dog died unexpectedly, and we decided we wanted to make a paw print before dealing with her remains. My sister went to the Michaels to pick this up and it was perfect. The clay was already mixed and all we had to do was smooth it out with the ring they provided. Baked it at 250 degrees for 30 mins and it worked exactly as planned.

Keepsake of a beloved pet
I had a rough weekend, and it began when I had to make the decision to put my 16 year old dog to sleep as her health was declining rapidly. This was the only product that was available at my local Michael's, and I needed something that could be prepared fast, because the vet had a last minute cancellation so we only had about an hour to get this done. It took not even a minute to prepare, and only a half hour or so to bake. I would say the only issure I had was with the plastic ring sliding, and not having a surface that I could lay it on close to the ground for my dog. Perhaps providing a small recangular piece of plastic or cardboard for the preparation stage would have helped.
