Signature Crafts™ Light Cure UV Resin, 2.21oz. is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh Takes an eternity to cure and is still sticky once cured, which is confusing because after being placed under a UV light for a bit the resin should solidify and not remain sticky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good & love that it's local I was thankful they had one last bottle of this at my store the other day (wish they had a bigger stock of it so I could rely on having it nearby). I had recently run out of the kind I usually use that I had gotten elsewhere online, and was needing it more quickly than shipping would allow. Both kinds worked well, and I was pleasantly surprised that I had such good results with this one. I use it to cover the top of some painted polymer clay pins that I make, and it works quite well for that- giving it a wonderful shine & smooth feel. I have tried curing it with a UV light and with the sun and both worked well. I usually set a timer & let it go about 18 min under the light to make sure it isn't tacky anymore. I didn't use the sun as often so I didn't time how long it takes to fully cure it that way, but I think it would be similar to the lamp, maybe a tad longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent UV Resin Locally Great beginner UV resin to use, especially since it's fairly hard to get UV resin at an affordable price in Canada right now. The nozzle is narrow enough to get into small molds and areas that require a bit of precision. Expect odors--this is absolutely normal when working with resin, hence there is always a warning for wearing safety gear and working in a well ventilated area. Low/no odor resins exist, but you won't be only paying $20 for it. The Alumilite™ Amazing Clear Cast that Michaels carries stinks and lingers for days if you want to argue this particular UV resin is already too odorous for you. If this is your first time working with UV, note that the resin needs to be "penetrable" by UV to cure. Meaning if you're working with solid colors, depending on the thickness of your project and its opacity, the center will likely not cure. I've learned this the hard way many times before. Additionally, if it's "taking too long to cure" this might suggest whatever UV lamp or flashlight you're using might not be a high enough wattage (this one suggests 36W). Also be wary of the clarity of your mold, as this can also impact cure time/quality. If you're using a solid color mold, you shouldn't be using UV resin unless your project is going to be translucent. It's a good product, but you have to have some basic knowledge about working with UV resin to have it perform correctly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wouldn’t recommend this ever I was excited to find UV resin in the store. Once I started using this, I hated it. Terrible smell and is NEVER cures all the way. Stays sticky even when you put it under the UV lamp for 5+ minutes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High Gloss I have been working with Resin crafts for little over a year and I try to find good quality resin. I like the UV type. I came across this product while walking through my local Michael's and thought that I would try it. It does have a strong smell even with a mask on. I cured it according to the directions on the back. It was sticky but I have a window next to me that I placed my finished projects on and the next day they are no longer sticky. The pieces are super high gloss and beautiful. I only wish the size of the bottles were a bit larger for the price you pay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use Not sure why there are so many reviews saying the resin doesn't cure and stays sticky. I use this to make dice, and I've made over a dozen now with this brand of resin. I've found that it takes about 20-30 minutes to totally cure my dice with a UV flashlight. I don't know if this is considered a long time; I've only every used this brand. All of my projects have been coming out really nice. It does have a smell, but I wear a respirator mask for safety anyway (as should everyone who handles resin). It's a little pricey, but it's nice to be able to get this in a store rather than ordering it online and waiting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad UV resin I've tried lots of different UV resins & this one has to be one of the worst. It smells terrible and it stays tacky no matter how many times you wipe it with alcohol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from On par with Japanese UV resin This UV resin cures well with 36 W UV lamps. It will not cure if the wattage is too low. This uv resin cures slower than cheap resin, which is what I prefer. Slower curing uv resin prevents excessive shrinkage and brittleness. The bubbles in this resin is easily popped with a heat gun. This resin works like the REJICO brand UV resin and is cheaper and readily available in Canada.
