Description
Walnut Hollow's clay extruder is easy to use with all types of clay (and even cake fondant!). Once the clay is conditioned, place it into the tube, insert disc into the bottom cap and screw the cap onto the tube. Then, turn the crank-type handle clockwise to extrude the clay.

don't bother
I used this extruder for polymer clay and the washers provided in the kit broke with almost every use. While using, clay also slid behind the washer and got all greasy so I could no longer use the clay for projects. After multiple uses, it also got harder and harder to crank. For the price, I would've expected this extruder to work better.

Walnut Hollow Clay Extruder Set
The set is fine but rated my experience as a 3 because I returned the set. I found the same extruder for a lower price at Hobby Lobby. After using the 40% off coupon, I saved close to $10.

Life is easier
I have been an artist for longer then I’d like to admit, this tool is a wonderful way to make life easier! It works great. The only set back is, I can’t figure out why at the end Sculpty gets black and I can’t use that part. I would give it a 5 if it did not do that. Clay to dry?

Excellent for fondant!
This product is EXCELLENT. After searching high and low to get an extruder, I read on a forum this would be good. And I had a 50 off coupon, it was a huge save and deal!

Fondant
I used this extruder on fondant and it turned the fondant black. The grease of the fondant removed the logo on the outside. I would not recommend this product on fondant.

excellent product
This extruder is excellent. the price was reasonable (had a 40% off coupon.)
the set includes an excellent selection of dyes and others are available at manufacturer's sight.
I use premo clay and tried 4 different dyes from largest to smallest and different shapes. The output from the extruder was consistant with the smallest circle and the larger dyes.
The product is easy to disassemble, clean and reassemble.
i have recommended this product to other clay artists. i am extremely please with this product.
the only thing i would add to the package would be a cleaning brush.
