Large variety of colors
There were some beads that were random colors or slightly off hue from the others and There was a low amount of clear and yellow and about twice as many dark brown than any other color. Other than that, there was a great variety of about 24 different colors! Although I’m sure each bucket varies. I would buy this product again.

these beads are hoorible they are rough the colors are not the same as the perler beads I should have just went to acmoore to get my beads and spent a little more money I will never buy this product again now im out 15.00 cause im not able to use these cause I already opened them

Poor quality
Perler brand buckets and 1000 bead single color bags have been replaced with this poor quality brand. I bought a bucket hoping the colors would match the rest of my Perler colors and they don't, although store employees will assure the customer that it's the same thing. Trust me it's not. These colors are off and the beads seem to have a glossier finish on the plastic. Seeing the color difference I don't even wish to try mixing this brand and the Perler brand together as I'm pretty sure it'd be a waste of a project, time and money.

Make it your own!
My 5 year old just got into melty beads, but we needed more colors and options than the original kit offered. This is an excellent value-to-cost option to make more bead art and satisfy the needs of a young budding artist.

Too sharp
The beads were very hard and pretty sharp and they scraped up my hands, unlike the beads in a different size bucket I bought earlier. Would not recommend

The beads are not all created equally.
Creatology replaced the Perler brands in the stores here. All the beads are not created equally. Some have bigger holes and some smaller. Making the melting uneven. The white is off and makes it look dirty. It has potential but needs more quality control.

Great value
A great value, with a ton of colors and even has glitter and glow in the dark hidden in there. Only downside is that you need to take a day to sort your colors or your projects will take forever.

No longer have Perler Bead Jars - Now Creatology
They no longer carry Perlers - Now it's Creatology brand. - Both melt at about the same temperature and same finish. The colour variety is a little different. The Creatology beads are more brittle and have less give than Perlers. Fine for flat pieces but will be more difficult for 3d bead pieces as the Creatology beads will not bend and will break apart instead.

Great creative activity
Melty beads are a great activity for older kids. My 7, 10, and 13 year old can spend hours making designs from patterns, ideas they see online or creating something with their imagination. Some examples: Broncos logo, Pokémon, cupcake, raccoon, etc.
The obvious downside is that the beads are tiny and there's a high probability you'll find on the floor weeks later!
