The skeleton balsa wood pieces, very fragile and difficult to put together. Definitely an adult needed to do it and a child under seven or eight would probably have a very hard time my five-year-old nephew well had a hard time with it so I put that together for him, and then he did the clay, but he was really more interesting and just making stuff with the clay, I did notice that some of the packs of clay were dried out where they were basically like Styrofoam instead of actual clay, unfortunately.

I bought this twice so far the first time piece is broke so badly that I couldn’t put it together and my child was devastated. I just picked it up for the second time I let him know I bought it for him and then I would put together the dinosaur and again while trying to pop out the wood pieces from the frame it broke again and it won’t even stick together with gorilla glue.  I don’t recommend this item. But the air dry clay works pretty cute.

I wanted to love this craft a lot.  The wood pieces popped out easier than expected. Putting them together was not the easiest to understand with a kid begging for it to be done and “helping”. But it wasn’t hard when you had a minute to “look at it”.  The wood on the jaw did come loose with assembly but was easily glued together again.  I was dissatisfied with the amount of clay.  No matter how little clay we applied in a thin layer over the wood, we couldn’t cover the whole thing.  We ended up with a belly showing wood and uncovered with clay.  Also the feet are small and once the clay is applied keeping it balanced to stay standing was very tricky.  I did love the shiny accessories.  Kids frustration level was high.. fun level was low.  Wouldn’t repeat unless I saw a change in design

The cardboard broke as we were assembling it so we couldnt make a dinosaur. Ended ip using the air dry clay to make other things.

I bought this set for a crafting afternoon with my friends. The quality of the materials are acceptable. The directions are very basic. We had fun going off script and making our own styled dinosaur!
