Wanted a larger scaled sketchbook to paint with acrylics & came across this one. The paper is a good weight for acrylic paint, the pages are scored at the binding if you wanted to remove them and the binding allows you to lay the book/pages flat. It has to do with how they made the binding and I really feel like the bang for the buck is well worth it. 

I have a lot of sketchbooks (watercolor, drawing, journaling) and this particular one has become my favorite.  I bought the version that is about 8"x11" (page size). Might buy one more because usually when I find something I like, by the time I need a 2nd one...they arent available any longer.

I love this book I’ve been buying tons of them for the last 5 years.
Imagine my shock when I went to get and they did not have any with spine covers just the front and back hard covers so the spine is just the glue and the thread unfortunately that will no longer work for my business so on the hunt for a different product I will not sell something that will not hold up for my customers a small business reputation is so important. Please change back or give your customers the option thank you

I am a High School Art teacher and I purchase these for my students.  This is how they take notes in my class.  They first paint the pages with watercolor or tempera paint then glue handout material and write notes on the pages.  They also use them to sketch ideas for projects.  Many of my students use them multiple years and they hold up well to the abuse.
