I like that they are thick cards, not easy bent or torn. The texture has a velvety feel to it rather than rough like many do. My students like to rub it as they count and trace.

I was anxious to purchase the number and uppercase Textured Touch and Trace sets after receiving the lowercase set. 

All 3 sets are informative for parents as well as teachers because we sometimes, unbeknownst to us, form letters and numbers based on poor habits. 

I allow all students, regardless of apparent need, to visit this Center tool in order to hone handwriting skills. It has been an invaluable tool for struggling students who require supervision when practicing and as a result it has saved me precious time!

This item has been on my wish list for quite some time!
I longed for a manipulative with numbers as well as color-coded red/ green guides in order for my students to practice their handwriting skills in an alternative fashion.
With minimal assistance students can properly complete handwriting exercises.. The Science of Reading stresses the importance of letter formation and its role in the reading skills continuum therefore I am relieved to have this aid at my fingertips. My students are gaining ground and smiling as they do!

I have purchased both the uppercase and numeral sets since receiving and experiencing instant success with the lowercase version!

The tracing cards have been so helpful practicing letters and letter recognition. The students use them to trace while saying the letter, and it is helping with recognition. I love that they are textured and great for hands on learning.

I can not say enough amazing things about these cards! I have not used them... YET. I have opened them and traced all the letters. I absolutely love how they are slightly textured. Another amazing aspect is that the cards have a green dot on where to start "writing" the letter, and a red dot on where to stop. This is huge for letter formation and helps ensure that the students are practicing the correct way! I will be using these for differentiated learning for some of my resource kiddos that are in the beginning stages of writing their letters.
