Basics mediums and varnishes are developed for students and artists that need dependable quality at an economical price. Permanent gloss varnish is used to protect finished paintings. Gloss Varnish can be mixed with Matte Varnish to vary the final finish sheen. Best applied with a large soft brush, it dries to a clear, non-yellowing finish.
