I wish the description had mentioned that this is roving. Roving is unspun material, it is not actually yarn and projects made with it will fall apart. Returning it would have cost almost as much as I paid for the yarn, so I tried using it to make a crochet garland. While the consistency is fairly even throughout, it's delicate and breaks VERY easily. It was also incredibly tangled in the middle, and any attempts to untangle would result in more breakage. I would not use this for any kind of wearable item because it absolutely will not hold up, especially if you wash it.

Do NOT order Dark Ocean if you think you’re getting a green/brown yarn. The picture on the website is horribly inaccurate. The yarn I received is blue and purple.

I make crochet stuffed animals. So when I would so sew the head onto the body, I would pull tight and it would fall apart. I see some other people have said that they spent more time untangling the yarn then actually crocheting. Also it was very thin so when I made my stuffed animal you could see the stuffing inside of it. Terrible Yarn very disappointed.

Not everyone here in the reviews seems to understand this is a roving yarn (meaning it is not twisted or plied, as many yarns are). A lot of roving yarns have a lot of inconsistencies with the thickness throughout the strand, but this yarn is extremely consistent… which is impressive. Not to mention the color options are incredible, and so is the price! This is the color ‘Lapis.’ I highly recommend this yarn unless you’re a true beginner since it is indeed still a little different to work with. I think a true beginner in yarn crafting would be better off starting with a regular worsted plied yarn such as regular Red Heart Super Saver or similar. Happy crafting!

This yarn is on the inconsistent side but worked up it is gorgeous. The sizing varies throughout the skein and it sheds, I personally can look past this for its softness & beautiful colorway.

I spend more time trying to remove knots and unravel the yarn than I do crocheting or knitting.  This is the 3rd skein ive had issues with.  I have nine more and i wish i could teturn them.  oh well, lesson learned

This yarn is very soft, cuddly. Many scarves and shawls are made of the Loops & Threads Facets yarn. But there are many cuts in the skeins, a dozen or so pieces tied together. Not a good character for trying to produce long, smooth, continuous lines of crochet or knitting. Lovely color combinations.
