I love this clay! Super cheap for a lot of it!

After I bought a box of his clay, a friend allowed me to experiment with his box of this clay. Once I started using it, I wished I had left it on the shelf. I found this clay to be too dry and crumbly, both on the wheel and in hand-building. It just doesn’t seem to retain moisture well enough to work with it. Needless to say, I brought it back for a refund.

Cant really model with it because it is too fragile and breaks. It also cracks upon drying no matter what form you have, even if the clay is fresh or if you add water.

Fabulous clay value for making pollinator seed balls and clay models for worm anatomy.  As a volunteer master gardener, I need to stretch our funds so a reasonable price and a great Michael’ coupon does the trick!

I understand it says in the box, this clay will shrink, but cracked as shown in the photos. However I bought twice because the 1st buy was short. This is just too much cracking and it fall off too. I'm afraid it will fall apart when I finish this project. It's for my customer though 😢

Easy to soften in hands. Drys too quickly while working with the clay. 
Add on pieces break off or crack even using the score and slip method. I don't recommend this clay for sculping or modeling or pinch pot method. Large pieces break at key areas. 
Maybe okay for miniatures or flat pieces 
Save your money if looking for sculpture clay, this clay is not it.

i got this clay as a replacement for the crayola air dry clay i usually buy, and at first i had high hopes, now im just dissapointed. it’s very wet and sticky out of the plastic, but it smells a little like urine and feels almost… plasticy? the wet clay doesnt stick to itself at all, you can easily tear attached pieces off even after blending and smoothing while the clay is still wet, they come off clean as if they were never stuck together. even when rolling the clay into a ball, it never has a smooth surface, if you take two pieces of clay and mash them rogether, roll them into a ball, you’ll have a ball but the parts where the clay was originally connected, the lines will show and you can seperate on that seam. while resting for less than 10 mins, the clay already began to crack. yes, it’s a good price, but the quality is so so bad. bottom line, stick with crayola if you want consistency in your finished pieces….
